Josh Trujillo is an award-winning writer based in Los Angeles. He has worked with clients including Marvel, Gearbox Studios, Telltale Games, Netflix, and DC Comics, among others.
Josh is a Senior Writer at Gearbox Studios, and recently wrapped work on the latest installment of the Borderlands game franchise. He also served as the writer of Blue Beetle ongoing series. In 2023, Trujillo released the historical non-fiction Washington’s Gay General, and the Queer romance Pool Boys. His work spans different genre and audiences, including children’s fiction, history, gaming, and Queer issues.
Trujillo has written for various iconic characters, including Superman, Wonder Woman, and X-Men. He has also written official comics based on Rick and Morty, Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir, Sonic the Hedgehog, Aggretsuko, Godzilla, and Adventure Time.
