I am a Professional interested in attending the show. What do I need to do?

Long Beach Comic Con is pleased to offer credentialed, published industry professionals, and those in the related industries of film, television, animation, guilds, gaming, etc. deeply reduced admission to the Con.

Professional pass registration will be open until August 15, 2023. We welcome Professionals who register after the deadline, but please note we will charge a $20 fee. Once you've registered online, please remember to bring samples of your work and/or a business card to the show. We do not offer a guest option – Professional badges are for Professionals only. Please note if you try to bring a guest in we will show you this exact excerpt- so we’ll say it again for good measure, your Professional badge only allows one person, not two, not five, not your entire rugby team... one! If the guest you were planning on bringing is a Professional, they can register as well!

Where do I pick up my wristband? What about pre-registration?

There will be a clearly-marked booth in the Lobby of the Convention Center for walk-ins. Pre-registrants will take their barcode scan copies or use their smartphones at the Advance Ticket Registration Area. Depending on Public Safety requirements by the City of Long Beach, we may require additional entrance elements such as Masks and COVID-19 Vaccination Proof.

Do I have to wear it at all times?

If you want to be in the Exhibit hall and programming rooms at all times, yes. If you don’t have it on, we may think you are some sort of undesirable who snuck in and we will be forced to ask you to leave.

I purchased my Long Beach Comic Con ticket in advance but never received an e-mail confirmation. What’s up with that?

This could be for several reasons. The most popular? The e-mail is sent from TicketLeap (our ticketing partner), not LBCC, so search your inbox for an e-mail from TicketLeap. The PDF tickets will be attached. If you still can’t locate your tickets, the e-mail address entered may be incorrect. If that is the case, please email customerservice@madeventmanagment.com with the full name of the person who purchased the tickets and we’ll resend the ticket confirmation! Please note, if we are unable to locate the tickets, your order may not have gone through. Double-check that the order was processed on your bank statement. If it was, we’ll use other ticket buyer information to find it.

Major Bummer- I purchased my Long Beach Comic Con ticket in advance and just found out I have to work... is it possible to get a refund?

First, are you sure no one can cover?! If no one can, refund requests are accepted up until 30 days before the event. Be sure to request the refund via TicketLeap for it to be processed. Please note, refunds may take up to 3-5 business days to return to your account. We’re bummed you won’t be able to make it.

To complete my costume, I carry a large battle-axe that I hone to razor sharpness every day. It's cool for me to bring that, right?

Ummm, seriously? Props are one thing, but anything that could take an eye out, could hurt someone, or make the cops (or my mother) take it away from you, is not allowed. Please refer to our policies for more clarification and please understand that a professional security agent will be assessing your prop for public safety and their decisions are final.
