Penelope R. Gaylord is an illustrator and visual development artist. She started her professional career in comics but has since transitioned into the animation industry, creating stories and characters for studios like Cartoon Network, Imagine Entertainment Kids and Family, and 9B Collective. She illustrated the Captain Marvel Little Golden Books and the Avengers: Battle on the Moon Little Golden Book for Penguin Random House. Born in the Phillippines, Penelope grew up in Washington, DC, area. She and her husband Jerry are pursuing their dreams of bringing their stories to life in cartoon form – also to live a cowabunga lifestyle.
