Oh yeah! We couldn't be more excited to pass along this bit of news! Adam Kubert will be making his FIRST EVER Long Beach Comic Con appearance - 9/12 & 13 at the Long Beach Convention Center.

The son of the legendary Joe Kubert, both he and his brother Andy have both made names for themselves as top rated comic book illustrators. Adam earned his degree in Medical Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology before graduating from the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art.

A long and successful career, Adam's art has appeared in major books for both Marvel and DC including Wolverine with Larry Hama, The Incredible Hulk with Peter David, Ultimate X-Men, Action Comics and Wolverine: Origin. Kids 10 & Under Get in FREE at the LBCC!
Our goal is that everyone coming to the LBCC has a great time, but we take great pride in delivering entertainment that the entire family can enjoy. This way fan moms and dads can bring their little ones and show them the stuff they love without stretching the budget or needing to find a babysitter.

And we've got lots for kids to do! Our kids programming includes How-to Draw Comics, Cosplay DIY for kids and families and the Girl Scouts will be there too. You'll have a hard time getting your kids out of ourLEGO play area and they'll be amazed by the cosplayers who bring their favorite heroes to life. They even can play Star Wars Laser Tag with a stormtrooper or get a picture with one.

There will also be many kid & young adult friendly comics and creators at the 2015 LBCC including My Little Pony artist Tony Fleecs and Hero Bear & the Kid creator Mike Kunkel in Artist Alley and Disney artist Amy Mebberson in our Animation Island.

Man of Action Entertainment, the creators of Ben 10 and Big Hero 6 will be there also and we even have a special appearance by How To Train Your Dragon 1,2 & 3 Writer & Director Dean DeBlois.

*Kids 10 & under only - Limit 2 children per paid adult

    TESTIMONIALS
See what people are saying about our shows...

"LBCC'14 was a blast! You guys do such a terrific job of putting on a convention. This is my 4th LBCC and as long as you keep doing what you're doing, I'll keep coming back. Everyone there is super friendly and it's so easy and well organized, which makes it a lot of fun. My favorite thing to do is meet comic book creators, get signatures and get sketches in artist alley. I love that you have well established names as well as lots of fresh talent to discover. Seriously, from top to bottom, you all do a great job with the show. Kudos to everyone on your staff!"
    - Chris Kiefer

"My husband and I really love attending your convention. We have been attending since the first Long Beach Comic Con and it has become our favorite comic book convention. Since we are from San Diego, we take a "mini vacation" in Long Beach. We are super excited for this year's event. You have created a really Awesome comic convention!"
    - Rachel Fogg-Lara & Ramon Lara

"I had the opportunity this last weekend to walk the Long Beach Comic Con. The past 3 years I have attended as a budding young (well old) artist and enjoyed my time in the Artist Alley. From the veteran creators of the comic industry to the new faces looking to tell their own stories, there is an overall drive of creativity, energy and passion for the comic medium. The diversity of styles, content, ages and viewpoints just show how much people love comics."
    - Chris Waterman for Bleeding Cool.com

"Long Beach Comic Con treated the pros and the fans to a real treat. I especially enjoyed the relaxed surroundings and actually got to spend some time with some real special people as well. This is the kind of show we will keep coming back to year after year. congrats to everyone that made it happen."
    - Jimmy Palmiotti

"Intimate enough to mingle with the artists, yet big enough to inspire awe.... the LB Comic Con started something that will hopefully continue to grow and inspire year after year!"
    - Jim Lujan

"It was a pleasure to attend the Long Beach Comic Convention. What I liked best was how easy it was to get to the convention. The best part of this comic convention was it was about comics!!! The main reason I attended was to browse Artists Alley. I saw all my favorites and noticed a few new ones. I think the venue was perfect. Downtown Long Beach offers a beautiful view to go along with the shopping center around it. Thanks for a great time and I can't wait to attend next year, and many more to come."
    - Jarrod Kawashima, Geoffrey's Comics

"A Comic Book Convention with more comic books on the vendor floor than anything else! How refreshing! I loved that I could speak with comic book artists without feeling overwhelmed by humongous crowds."
    - Rachel Bieber, City of Torrance Reference Librarian

"You could not have asked for a better comic con, than the Long Beach Comic Con. It being the first year of the show, we (Fiction House Mafia) had no idea what to expect. We had heard the buzz of guests that would appear. J. Scott Campbell, Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee- to name a few. One of the best things about the show is that it was well rounded. Where some of the shows you don't really get the chance to converse with your favorite creators and they managed to pull it off. It was awesome!!! If you're an independent creator take into consideration this convention, because the focus that they put on their booths, artist alley tables, is really second to none. We had an artist alley table and sold out of every book we took."
    - Albert Morales (Artist, El Mystico), Fiction House Mafia

"I had such a blast at Long Beach Comic Con! There was a wide variety of things to see and do and a great lineup of guests. As a creator it was a great chance to network with other creators but I also had fun attending the show as a fan!"
    - Brendan Creecy
